Colored Pencils Commissions

Colored Pencil commissions are a pricier commission due to the time and work involved in a piece. I strive to get every detail and every bit of shading into these pieces. That, mixed in with the fact they do not have the easy blending quality of watercolors, the prices are a bit higher because of that extra time put into them.

There are two types of Colored Pencils that I can use for my colored pencils commissions. Prismacolor Pencils and Rembrandt Polycolor colored pencils. Both are professional grade pencils that are very similar, but still have slight differences. Prismacolor Pencils are a wax based colored pencil that provides a bright bold color that catches the eye. Rembrandt Polycolors are oil baised. They have a smooth soft look and are perfect for pictures that needs a softer feel to them.

Pricing for colored pencils varies upon size and complexity of the peices and what's involved. Illustration board is also available for me to work on. It is a sturdier surface and is better for framing purposes. But because of the way that it is made it is a bit more pricey. For quotes for a peice using illustration board, please contact me.
